It's been a long time since I posted...
Apr. 4th, 2008 05:11 pmSprings here, okay it's not sunny but I can here birds chirping in my garden - probably a form of agression or attracting mating - but anyways, it's pretty.
The badness, which was last year is starting to fade away, my parents split up just before Christmas. I've also been busy with all my podcasts - I'm on three now, and LJ stuff took the biggest hit. It doesn't look like I'll be escaping podcasting or the Whedon fandom anytime soon. *Dollhouse Squee!*
I'm just finishing up a script for Buffy Between the Lines Season 2, and then later on I'll be writing the season final with![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
sl_podcast(Tabz) - who is just to awesome for words. I've also been cast in a pretty big role. Tabz asked me why I hadn't posted about it, I think I was nervous of peoples reactions, I know it was one of the most popular parts auditioned for, and I'm worried people thinking I just got it because I'm good friends with the producers. They've of course been trying to beat it into my head, that I was really good and the best person for the roll. So, I'm going to be DRUSILLA!
We're just about to start planning of Angel Between the Lines, which is going to be set in the summer between season 3 and 4.
Buffy Between the lines also won an award for best audio drama at The Podcast Peer Awards, which was described to me as the Emmys of the podcasting world.
And there's going to be a Live Show at Dragon*Con, which I'm going to this year as well as going to the Podcast and New Media Expo and hanging around with Tabz in LA. So, no Writers Con UK for me this year. :(
P.S. Is anyone one looking forward to Doctor Who Season 4 starting tomorrow. 'Cause I am!

I'm really proud of everyone that worked on this episode. I could gush more about how great it is but I think the episode stands for itself.

We'll probably start writing in late September or early October. You will be provided with a brief outline for the episode, which will then be split between you and another writer.

You can now subscribe to Buffy Between the Lines on itunes. The first episode has an interview with sl_podcast and athenamuzewith Les from 'The Signal.' A pre-episode to introduce you to the new voices and the first scene from episode 1: here. (You don't even have to download it, just clicky the play button.) The first episode should air at the end of September, but they'll probably be more content before then.

Aug. 5th, 2007 01:26 pmHere and Here. The first is a piece BtVS of fic I read for bakatulippodcast. The second one has an intro by me and a ficlet I wrote. It was on a mini-cast forsl_podcast podcast she did for 'Summer of Serenity', which is on the 'Firefly Talk' and 'The Signal' feed.
Thank you to athenamuze and sl_podcast, for all their help and support. You two are wonderful friends and you both do an amazing job with Buffy Between the Lines.

There was some misconception about the auditions - we're not necessarily looking for people who can sound like SMG or Anthony Stewart Head but more people who can capture the *way* they speak, and embody the person. Also, even if you don't think you're up for playing one of the main characters there's LOTS of smaller roles. Just audition for someone and we'll hopefully match you up with the right role for you!

For anyone who cares, yes I love my Buffy comics. I read them all yesterday evening. And that's all I'm going to say, no talk about canon.
For anyone following my Buffy WIP, I'm back working on that.
I've also become a co-mod at General Firefly Fanfic. We've got a challenge over the next two weeks to write a firefly general fic around the word rain. The winner will get a custom made banner for their fic made bysl_podcast. (who made the pretties below.)
We've got a contest at the Buffy Between the Lines website so check that out. You know if you want, sorry for the spam. If you want any ficy goodness you can check out a ficlet I wrote at the begining of the week, if you haven't already read it.

I've not been around because I've been writing scripts for an audio podcast drama 'Buffy Between the Lines'. You can listen to a promo for it on our new website here. Hope you all like it.
