Cordelia sat waiting for the next bus. A car pulled up.

“Where to?”

“LA. Where you headed?” she asks.

“I’m driving to all 50 states.”

“I’m going to be an actress.” It be easy enough to pick apart both ambitions, but they don’t.

She gets out at the rich side of town. She knows won’t be staying.

“Thanks.” She gives him a winning smile. “I hope that I never see you again Xander.”

“Same here.”

She leans in and kisses him on the cheek.

As he drives away, some part of her leaves too. She’s not sure what it is.

Ah, the good old days. A great drabble around the great Cordelia Chase. "As he drove away, some part of her leaves too, she not sure what it is." This has got to be one of my favourite lines written that I've read in a long time. Excellent work.
